On Saturday 22nd March our Estates Manager, David Hill, completed his 250th Park Run cheered on by a group of Walhampton staff and boarders. David started at the Lymington Woodside Park Run at the end of 2016 and was a fairly regular runner but since 2022 David’s commitment to Park Run has been remarkable and he has been consistently hitting over 40 park runs per annum. David’s passion for commitment also shines through in his work ethic here at Walhampton where he has been a member of staff since 1967, in a variety of roles covering both teaching and estates management. David was a specialist maths teacher for almost 40 years and has taught plenty of fellow park runners. It was therefore no surprise that on learning he would hit the 250 Park Run milestone, he was joined by Walhampton staff and pupils for the run.
Next on the achievement list will be watching his wife Lisa hit the 200 park run milestone in the next couple of months. David makes a huge contribution to the life and rhythm here at Walhampton and we are so incredibly proud that his passion extends to the wider community.
